How it works

When life is challenging, employees need somewhere to turn for support. That's where Mutual of Omaha's Employee Assistance Program can help. Our EAP staff members are Master's level EAP Counselors. Our EAP Counselors can provide a solution-focused approach by assessing individual needs and providing appropriate resources and referrals. Some of the issues where EAP can help include:

    • 24/7/365 phone access
    • Three calls per year (per household) with our in-house Master's level EAP professionals, who will provide the caller with community resources
    • Services for employees and eligible dependents
    • 1-800 hotline with direct access to a Master's level EAP professional

    • One legal consultation with an attorney per year (up to 30 minutes)
    • Access to EAP website and educational library
